Things Omar Minaya can say to Lure players to the Mets.
Mets’ GM Omar Minaya has a problem, well actually a bunch of problems. The Mets have holes in at least: left field, catcher, a starting pitcher or two, first base (depending on how keen you are on Murphy) and second base (depending on how keen you are on Castillo.) In order to fill those holes Mr. Minaya needs to convince players to come to Flushing and play for a team that lost a lot of games last year and plays in a big ball park that isn’t hitter friendly in an era of hitter friendly parks.
