Christmas has come and gone and the Mets while signing pitcher Kelvim Escobar still seem no closer to signing outfielder Jason Bay or catcher Bengie Molina. The Mets have had offers on the table all month and it is apparent now that both players rather go to the dentist for daily root canals than put on a Mets uniform.
