A new and experimental treatment is on the rise among star athletes in the US called Orthokine. This treatment, performed in Germany, is being used by athletes in the US in multiple sports and also now includes baseball.
Alex Rodriguez of the Yankees recently underwent the treatment within the last month performed in Germany on his bothersome right knee. He reportedly made 2 trips to Germany for treatment on his right knee and also made another trip in October to treat his left ankle.

Word is trickling out that Yankee third baseman Alex Rodriguez is under investigation by MLB for participation in illegal, underground poker games. I woke up today, went out to grab my morning paper, instinctively flipped to the sports section and, lo and behold, there he was, the most hated…err…controversial third baseman in all of baseball was right there on the cover.Yesterday, in a game against the Kansas City Royals, Alex Rodriguez placed himself on the cusp of history by driving out his 599th career home run against Royals reliever Robinson Tejeda in the seventh inning at Yankee Stadium. A-Rod’s homer, his 16th of the season, was a solo shot over the the right field wall that gave the Yankees a 6-4 lead in a game where they went on to win by a final score of 10-4. No better way than to allow already gigantic men to use unethical (though not illegal at the time) means to gain an unfair advantage.
Did Selig foresee the scenario that unfolds before us today? Did he care if it did? Read more... (426 words, 2 images, estimated 1:42 mins reading time)
