The Mets don’t over spend in dollars or years to bring in Jayson Bay. I am sorry he’s a good outfielder and the Mets need a good outfielder but they don’t need to beg him to take the rather large sum of money they are offering him. I would also like to point out that in all his years of mlb Bay has never been to a world series. So, maybe the guy is bad luck? (Okay, that may be sour grapes on my part.)
Oh, ditto for Molina except replace outfielder with catcher. (And he’s actually been to and won the Series. But he’s still like the third best catcher at his family’s Christmas dinner table.)
The Mets need to come up with at least one and more likely two starting pitchers who can actually win games consistently in the majors. I am thinking the Mets might want to take a chance on Chapman as they really don’t have much else to lose or gain.
Plus Mets, unload Luis Castillo somehow. Maybe Santa will take him for the elf softball league.
I wish for Daniel Murphy to blossom into the number 3 hitter he wants to be.
I hope, David Wright gets his power stroke back. (I am betting he hopes the same.)
Here’s to good health to Carlos Beltran and Jose Reyes. The team needs you guys.
Johan Santana just continues to be Johan Santana.
For the Mets ownership to remember that they are a major league, big market club. They certainly charge big market prices.
Mark DeRosa would be a good fit in either a Mets or Yankees uniform.
Oh speaking of the Yankees, they could use a left fielder, be his name Dye or Damon.
